    Default wot tuning questions

ok so im using the hp tuners how to write up from the other nick and im running into a couple of issues with the WOT tunning. my afr is kinda all over the place around 7000hz its at almost 14.5 but then buy 8125hz it goes to a 10.8 and buy 8700hz its smooth at about 11.2-11.5, do you use the smooth section on this or do i need to maf tune a lil more or? all my lifts are within about a max +/- 4% of 0. ALSO before any of the tuning i was at 0kr and now on my wot scans and maf tuning im seeing about 2kr consistantly at about 75-80mph. Im still rather new to hp tuners so idk if im way off on all this or wut but yea all helps appreciated thanks.

Step one is stock MAF table up there.

Step two is set your PE tables to stock OR set your adder to zero until 10 seconds in, and set your base PE to your target. (11.0 is nice)

Then monitor actual vs commanded and adjust accordingly.

do you stil use the smooth option for the WOT tuning after you have everything tweaked or is that just for doing maf lift part of the tuning?

I didn't use the smooth function at all for MAF tuning. All the part throttle stuff is up to 7500 ha, after that is WOT tuning. I'd get it as close to 0 as possible on part throttle stuff. Also I had all the PE tables 0'd out when tuning. After I was happy I threw the PE vs time back in. I'd have to check my tune when I get home to be 100% though.

I'd say more like up to 7,000.

I don't mess with MAF above that unless it's a completely different MAF.
