Why is My window not going up why it might not be going down..
To remove the Trim piece that holds the buttons with a small flat head screw driver on the bottom of the trim were the back door windows are in the center and just under the trim is a metal clip. You need to push this in and lift up. Be very careful here as to not break the clips up top or your trim will always be lose. Once this is done remove the window and mirror wires. And sit down for about 1 hr of work to do this. Remove the trim you will now have this piece to work with. Door switchs removed for work.

This white piece will need to come out but be careful not to bend the prongs.

Press on the tabs to remove this white piece.

With a small screw driver pop up the grey buttons they will just pop off.

Notice the clear rockers under the buttons this is were we are going to.

Now on each side of the black box you will see 3 tabs on each side with a small screw drive push these tabs in to remove the inside piece.

Once you push on all 6 of these tabs push down on the top of the clear rocks and it will slide out of the case. So far pretty simple huh.
Now once you have this in your hands you will see the clear rockers better.
On each side of the clear rocker you need the small screw driver again to move the tabs over to remove the clear rocker.

Now take note here when you turn over the clear rocker you will see two white tips, these have little springs inside them so be careful. look to see if the tips are still on the end of the white pieces.

We need to have a good set of tips that will alow the rockers to make proper contact.

You can pull the white pieces up and out of the clear piece, but be careful as there is a spring in there as well.

Now your going to notice that there are two copper contacts in side the case, these just pop out to and will and should be cleaned as well.

Now i never said this but if you do not have a small enough screw driver...then your wife/Girlfriends finger nail file will work well to.
You will also need contact cleaner Q-Tips and small piece of sand paper to clean up the copper contacts. As well as inside the housing were they go. See how dirty they can get.

I have a small srew driver becuase my wife is very mean And i don't mess with her much.

Your old contacts will look like the ones on the left and when you are done should look like the right side.

That was fun huh... Now Lets put it back together and install this in the car so you can put that window back up ---- or down.
If you can not find one of these at your local scrap yard you could for the time being borrow one from the back seat windows in the back seat.

If this did not fix your problem then it is your window motor that needs to be replaced and this is a first step to ripping apart your whole door to get at it.
Good Luck
This is a great spray to use cleans and seals the contacts.

I Hope this will help many in the future with this problem.

Please be carefull when taking out the switches as there are known to brake the tab off the unside of the houseing...
If this happens don't fear....
Yes i broke mine off ....
You can use 5 min apoxy and a peice of cardboard to make a new one..
apoxy the cardboard to make it stiff..
once it is set and hard you can then use the 5 min apoxy again to attach this to were the clip was...
My window has been working fine for 1 year now and the clip is holding fine...
I have to make up another file for this also. The other file will show you how to find out if it is your buttons not working or the motor is gone...
Once again i hope this helps anyone out that maybe in need of it.
