Mosport international raceway..... near Bomanville has an oval track and road course....
Every sat in the summer the have a king of the hill on the 1/2 mile oval, i would love to take my car there next year, but all my friends drive slow cars :P, i believe there are other bring ur car out days and even on the road course but i have no idea when or how.

That is if you're looking for a strip.
Where in Ontario are you anyways?
I usually go to shannonville. Last year some friends of mine setup some armdrop racing at the old picton airport over 100 cars showed up and over 1000 people aswell. 5$ spectator 20$ to race. No set times yet i'll post them up onced confirmed.
100 cars at $20 each, 1000ppl at $5 each, wow $7k made ont that, how much did it cost to set up?

I don't think the rental for the pad is too much. i never got involved with the price of insurance for the event though and other certain fees.
And also for some lapping events st. lawrence auto club hosts some at shannonville and picton aswell.

Mosport would be number one. Shannonville Motorsports Park is another good one for both drag and circuite.
Mosport is just king of the hill unless you really want to get serious.
I wouldnt trust a stock W body (short of a GXP) at the end of the back straight away either haha.
Speaking from experience of actually driving the track, Mosport is the most fun and even challenging. Corners to know, turn 2, know your line and let off point. Turn 5, know your line and go slow around 5B

Where is mosport and how much is it to run on the track?

north of bowmanville, being renamed to canadian tire motorsport park.
any idea what dragstrip opens the soonest? I dont think cayuga opens till may and I dont want to wait that long lol.
I know I'm reviving here but what about Calabogie MSP? It's a beautiful and technical 20+ turn track. I only went once for the day but it was a great track... plus it's relatively new so it's super smoothe.
Here's a link to the track: www.calabogiemotorsports.com/
Lightly modded... But still a V6.
Not many people from ottawa/gatineau on this forum AFAIK.
More are on OQCGP.com
Looks interesting for sure.
