what are these wires? 04 and up

ok i have a wire harness out of an 06 grand prix GT... there are a few wires cut in the front of the car. these are on the right side of the car in the front they come out of the wire harness right next to the passanger side headlight wiring. what do they go to?

only thing i can think of is pulling the coating off and tracing them to the fuse box and see what they are labeled.

yeah but i need to know what kinda connector goes to the other side or if it goes to the motor or something. anyone with a 04+ could just look in the engine bay and see these. its on the car harness not the engine harness. if anyone can look at their car let me know. also the pcm has 3 ports. do all 3 connect to the engine harness then the engine harness connects to my fuse box? and does the ABS module connect into the engine harness

Yes all three go to the pcm then to the fuse box. I will try to look at mine to figure out what the rest of them are for

thouse are some thick wires. they would go to something that uses alot of power

Fan Wires? Not a wiring person just a thought...

The four heavy gauge are for the fans

I'm building an 07 and just finished repairing that harness. Gotta say yours is way worse than mine was. Yes the 4 heavy gauge wires are the cooling fans. The six multi colored are the WS washer pump , washer fluid level sensor and the horns. And yes, that gray conector plugs into the park/fog lamp harness.

If you have a pick a part or friendly auto wrecker near, a trip with a set of wire cutters may be in order. Looks like you are missing a lot of plug connectors.
