what is the deal!!

People always tried to race me when I had the SS. No one ever tires to race the STi (which is fine because I honestly don't throw down on the streets I love my car too much) but it's just weird that no one even bothers.

On the rare occasion that a SS/TC cobalt or something pulls up I'll downshift to 4th like it's on, wait for the honks and shift back to 6th and carry on my way.
