The factory ones have projectors and others have poor quality compared to the aftermarket HIDs, i think.

Anyone got a great pic or vid of how 5000k low beams look like on their GP? Alone without fogs on.

5k - 55watt setups are the brightest when measured in lumen output... Followed by 4300k.

    wrong.

4300K is pure white, with the most output. from there it tapers off in both directions.

Oh sorry I dont have over 10 years experience Installing them at my shop daily carrying several different brands... Look at facts. 4300 is as close to stock COLOR and is NOT brighter then 5k. Your opinion means nothing.

Ive seen proven factual data from several different companies. 5k has a higher lumen output then 4300. Not by much still theres a difference.

Oh and fyi. 4300 is not pure white it has a yellowish tint to it. Smh

so you're saying the HID's you're installing aren't 100% correct then, since 4300K is the brightest light and closely mimics the light output of the sun.

HEy i guess i some how forgot about this thread and read through it and hey i never thanks you on these pics, it looks very cool and white indeed.

I dont have my GP no more just my SUV but im wanting to get a 4500k hid bulbs from DDM soon. I got 6k right now for my SUVs hi/low and fog. The only problem i have is that the fogs and headlights look so differ in color. Why is that? I looked at it they both are 6k and have that white strip on the HID bulbs. BTW they are O-Nex brand. Im really wanting to get the ones from DDM since they are so affordable and thinking about getting 4500k for the fogs first then when i get more Money get the low/HI since mine has both hi and low in one and it cost more for both.

What you guys think on DDMs 4500k HID, are they just as bright and white as the 4300k? Also why they have 4500k and not 4300k?

Hey i got 4500k HIDs from DDM Tuning just for my fogs, and i wanted to know the strip on the 4500k is white just like the one on my 6000k o nex bulb. Is the strip supposed to be white or is it to be black. how is the two bulbs different when they look the same?

I have heard from many people that 4300k is pure white and the brightest. BTW what color is the strip on the 4300k bulb suppose to be?

Also stealthee has mentioned, before on this thread a page or two back, that 4300k is purest white and birghtest and gives the most usable lumens in the output. Also i do agree when i looked at my fogs lamps they seem to have some yellowish oem style color on it but it was a brighter color than my 6000k headlamps.

Many people have told you wrong, in a sense. 2 links, took a total of about 8 seconds to find.. Its dependent on the color spectrum, and temperature.. 4300 is not "pure white" but it seems to be brighter than pure white, which is 5000k

    Color Confusion 4300k or 5000k
