Unbelievable Help! I feel empowered now....thanks!
I still cant get this link to work. I click it and it opens up a google site but no video. What am i missing?
You need Adobe Flash Player, homie. It's a free download.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
I have all this taken apart now and was wondering what everyone uses to clean the lifter and crank area and such of all the old oil and such? Thanks
more oil.
Take a quart or 2 and dump it all over the vally to wash away any coolant or debris.
Then once done, drain the oil. Fill with some cheap stuff, run for 10-15 min and change it again with a new filter, you dont want to chance it buy only changing the oil once.

Is the temp sensor that threads into the LIM for coolant or oil? I want to replace it while I have it all down but the part number listed on the earlier pages would not come up at our local parts house. Thanks again for all your help.
It is for the coolant....replace your t-stat while you are at it and you will see the temp sensor just inside the opening once you remove the t-stat. NAPA part number TS4052.......for my '04 GTP. Good luck, I am replacing fluids in the next few minutes and testing out my LIM gasket, valve cover gaskets, waterpump, t-stat, coolant temp sensor, injector o-rings, and anything else I broke in the process.....
Guys, I completed this and as everyone said it was not really all that bad. I have a few questions though. My temp gauge is pegged out even though I changed the temp sensor on the intake. Why or what would cause that? Also, the supercharger seems to be louder when idling than normal. Should i check the oil on it and if so how. I have owned the car for 10 years and never checked or changed. Thanks again for all the help.
Do I need to have the engine at TDC when I tighten the rocker bolts? Some sites say I do and others say I don't. If I do how exactly do I find TDC? I know it involves turning the camshaft but thats about it
man ive got to do this soon and im not looking forward to this.

i dont understand how this much work is done so quickly. i just changed my coupler and it took me 2 days, and it also was the most frustrating thing ive ever done. and that was supposed to be easy. i dont know how you mechanic guys do this crap

Soooo. I just did this and put headers and exhaust on all at once... Now I gotta know, what happens if you forgot to put sealant on the lower intake bolts?
the bolts will leak coolant over time.
