Trying to remove water stains from hood

Hey I'm looking for a way to remove these awful water stains from my hood. I'm ordering a porter cable next week so will the porter cable remove them? What pads and products should I use? Thanks

start with washing the car with dish soap and then use a clay bar kit, I did this and find the car is not getting as dusty as it used to. It should remove any stains from water.

I had spots on my hood that would not come up, they were either mineral deposits from tap water or corrosion spots.. like smooth on the paint but looked blotched and spotted, maybe about the size of a quarter for the whole area of the spot. I used car wash soap, dish soap, detailer, clay bar and they did nothing, I bought a set of applicator pads with a little velco handle that sticks on the back of them for grip and some UC and did my whole hood by hand, took me about a half hour for the whole hood to buff and wipe each section, I did it in quarters.

My arm felt like it might fall off towards the end but my hood looked like it was fresh out of the paint booth. Took off all spots and even all of the god-awful swirls left by the dealership when I got hail dents removed. I also gently bumped into another car backing up not too long ago, left a little scuff on my back bumper that was pretty noticable. UC made it nearly invisible. This is all by hand, too.. if you have a good buffer then multiply the effects.
