Are you on the original 4t60-e trans? If so keep us posted on how the trans is holding up. I'm top-swapping my 97 in a few months.

Which PCM? Which trans?
Which TB?
Which injectors?
The only way to tune the car properly is with Tiny Tuner and DHP or HPT. It's a giant PITA and I don't suggest it. Although my 4T60 held up very well to being top swapped, utilizing the boost control solenoid was impossible without Tiny Tuner and DHP or HPT. I had neither of those when I top swapped my 97. You can't simply plug the 4T60 data into the L67 bin or the trans won't shift out of second gear. You can put the L67 data over the 97 GT data but you will have no control over the BCS.

You dont need a boost control solenoid... It was never even used on the 97gtp anyway..
Just tune it yourself, you just need to add in some extra PE and adjust for whatever injectors you have... Use a stock GTP bin as your guide.
I DO NOT know what I'm talking about so I DO NOT POST. No advice is better than bad advice!
I never used the boost solenoid even with a gtp bin.
Trac is just too slow to react in my experience. Was able to pull my foot out of it before trac did anything.
