Re: tilting motor forward I disconnect the front motor mounts and push the dogbones down towards the base of the motor, then I put a ratchet strap from the radiator support, around the top of the engine to the other side. That way you can ratchet the motor as far forward as you need to.
There are holes near the dogbones on the radiator support which should be perfect for the hooks of the ratchet strap.You win some, lose some and you wreck some. - Dale Earnhardt

Re: tilting motor forward I don't rock the motor forward unless it's a 3.1 with california emissions. It's still pretty easy to change plugs.
