    Default The Clunk is Over

After chasing this problem for the past five years, the wait is over. Installing GM rear subframe bushings solved the problem. The clunking noise at the floor board is gone. I can now stop and start without the usual crackling noise.

Awesome! My rear mounts were bad too! Did you go with OEM or Dormans?

Dorman does not make these bushings for the rear only the front ones. You can only get these bushings from GM. I paid about $180 for complete set.

    $180! Good Lord!

Kinda interested though. Do you happen to have a link or part number, or picture of the box it came in? A picture of the packaging would be best.

I have a new GM OEM set from a Regal in case anyone is interested. I have to dig them out of my parts bin. If anyone is interested, let me know so I can look.
