Default 852's no longer available for DHP.

So I've been hearing through the grapevine that the AVT will no longer be setting up AVT boxes for use with DHP.

I think it would require a firmware or software change. When I talked to the guy about them back a couple of years ago and asked about stock he said he could configure one and ship it the same day. So I'm guessing it's a pretty simple change (for him).

We discussed this a while back in the other thread. The long and short of it is that there is some DHP-specific code in the EEPROM that the box gives to the PowrTuner software during the cable registration process.

I can see that code by using the AVT Hex application, but without the right instructions, I don't know how to change it. AVT doesn't give that information out unless you're a distributor or something.
