    Default Freeze plugs on 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3.8

    I have had nothing but trouble finding the freeze plugs that goes in the front top of the intake manifold and the pulley bracket on top. Part store just cant find them, cant say what size they are. Need help with this info. Thanks Miles Truex

    are you referring to the coolant bypass elbows?
    One goes from the tensioner bracket to the intake and the other goes from the tensioner bracket to the timing cover.
    There is no freeze plug / Welsh plug in our lower intake.
    The coolant elbows are available in any Dorman/HELP isle of a parts store

    if we are talking elbows your 97 has one plastic replaceable elbow, the lower one is part of the alt bracket.
