    Here's a video in top post of what mine's been doing. It's an 05 - http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...t-go-bad-(vid)

I took mine in to have it checked with a Snap-On ABS reader thing ($30). I found that it's not a bad BCM, but a bad ABS module. Rebuild services are on ebay. I can also confirm that my car will still act like TCS is on, even with the DIC showing everything not working.

Sorry all been a little bz

GTPKermit PM me. I was getting ready to send my ECBM in for repairs but if you have one let's arrange payment and stuff.

Hello My Friends. Been a bit bz. Started a new job last week. Upgraded from a School Bus Driver/Tech to a Shop Manager of a Charter Bus Company. Huge boost in pay and double the hours lol.
Ordered a bunch of things for the GTP. Headers, plugs, Pulley, stereo and speakers all around.

Test drove a 2000 GTP for the wife. Bad CV joint, steering wheel crooked, Headlights held on with Plumbers tape, slight slight catalytic convertor smell and it didn't pull like mine does so assuming Cat was going bad. Anyways Dealership wanted 2299 for it. I offered 1800 cash they hem hawed around to the point i said kiss my ass and walked away.

Before leaving town, found a 1998 GT with heated leather seats (Dr suggest would be great for my wife's back). As a bonus it had a HUD. I understand these things are common in a GTP but much less so in a GT. Anyways, looked great, ran great..... private party wanted $2300. I offered $2000 and she accepted. Her dad bought it brand new off the line in 1998 and she got it 4 yrs ago.

No ABS light....no TCS light....no engine light. Runs very smooth, shifts like butter.

I'll do a big pic update soon. Thanks for visiting

    Hello My Friends.....

So, I took out my ABS Module in preparation of sending it in to be repaired. On my way to work, I was tapping my finger on the cruise "set" and hit it too far and the darn thing is working now. Put the module back in and it doesn't. So left the module out lol.

    Visited the wife at work:

Upgraded my headlights. I did my research so I knew the pros and cons. But I installed Spec D Headlights (have used Spec D before in my Honda and was happy.

No bouncing, no issues installing and the low beams are FANTASTIC!!!! I'll adjust the High Beams this weekend so I'm not scanning the tops of trees.....
Anyways disconnected my car's DRLs as the lights were having issues. But they came with DRL LEDS so it's good. Anywho without further ado....

    With Parking Lights on:

    With JUST DRLs active:

This weekend installing my new stereo and hooking up my Subwoofer.

    Hiya Hiya,

Installed a new stereo today using PAC SWI-RC to retain Stereo controls. Took me awhile to figure out I had to change a setting in the stereo to get the PAC system to work lol. But works great. Didn't hook up my box yet or install my new speakers as I'm fighting being sick (thanks my daughter).

Gonna hold off on installing my headers and 3.4" pulley until I get my New ECU in.

Ordered my Overkill ECU. Soon as it comes in, it's upgrade time!!!

Got into it with an RX8 off the line. Was still wet/rainy and spun a tire (or 2 :P) all the way up to 45. We shut down at 60 and I had a couple cars on him. Not sure if auto/stick or anything. Just know it was a blue 2nd gen Rx8. Prolly an auto as the stick with a decent driver should give a hell of a run.

Will be installing my speakers this weekend.

    Well my Friends....

Everything is on hold atm. Driving home tonight a rod started knocking. I just got this motor from a JY 3 months ago and ironically the warranty expired 2 weeks ago.

I still have the old motor and our Machinist in the town comes HIGHLY recommended from several people so I'm just gonna rebuild the old motor. So, I'll be disappearing for a couple months as it will take that long for me to get things done. Luckily, the wife and I have a 3rd vehicle so not in dire straits.

At least it'll be easy to install the headers now LOL.

See ya'll in a couple months

Daum dude. Hope you get her going soon! and hey, if that trailer has a wood deck you just got a free protective seal job! I have 206k on my ol girl and she runs strong and I hope it stays that way for a while. I rarely ever beat on it but I always get into a little boost in 2nd gear when getting on the freeway. hard to resist to be honest lol.

    Seeking knowledge....

Someone told me the Series 3 BLOCK is identical to the Series 2 but is built a bit better. Is this true? Can I drop a series 3 with my Series 2 Intake/SC in without any issues/modifications?

Is the series 3 a stronger block?
Does the ECU run it just fine?
Do I have to use my Series 2 cylinder heads or can I use the series 3 (someone said they flow a bit better).

I know the Gen V SC better but they don't come on the engines around here in the JY and I just wanna get my car back up then put a Gen V on later when I got extra money to burn.

I'm just getting nervous as I bought the car with a spun bearing and just lost another engine to same issue and wasn't really doing anything. Maybe just had bad luck with a JY motor?

Series 3 3800s (L32) have powdered metal connecting rods instead of cast iron, and the heads have slightly bigger valves. Those are the only differences between the L67 and L32.

Handling upgrades, go-slow parts, and an attitude.

Woot thanks Warstryker. My area has 2 L67 but 4-6 L32s all within $100 of each other.

If you can get an L32 I'd do it. They are often the same price or lower than an L67.

    Hello My friends

Been unable to buy a motor yet...had other issues involving needing more priority. Anywho In a couple weeks I SHOULD be able to get a JY L32. Haven't pulled the old motor out yet as we been REALLY bz at work and playing catch up for the week I was gone to LA. and been spending weekends either catching up with my family or running to work for a quick fix cause seems some people can't figure out simple ****.

Anywho I'll update once I get the motor out or buy my new one

On a side note My ECU should be coming in. Contacted seller cause I havent heard anything since I ordered it back in late Feb and contacted last night to see whats going on and the seller was surprised so they checking into it. PayPal paid them so I do have a record of transaction lol. No problems I'm pretty patient and not like I can do anything with my car atm. But I really want it for when I reassemble so I can just straight up put everything on to begin with.

    Quick update:

Day 12 and the boss seems to think I'm a robot....Turning off my phone this weekend so I can get at LEAST ONE day off lol

My car still sitting where I left it. Got the CAI off and......that's about it.

Went to change the wife's LIM gasket. First the Return line broke. Then the Fuel Regulator Harness was so brittle I pretty much sneezed and it broke. THEN went to pull off the Fuel rail and a stud broke. Stopped there, reversed course and put it all back together. It's a VERY small like right now and I was stuck at work so..... Anyways, I ordered a bunch of stuff so I can change her LIM and break pretty much everything :P Ordered new Vacuum hoses and stuff from LIM up. And 4 studs for the Manifold.
