    Default Suspension Mods

I was interested in purchasing some suspension mods to increase the handling of my 04 GTP. I have been browsing 3800 Performance, ZZP and several other grand prix performance websites and I cant seem to figure out what parts I need. I would like a basic overview of what parts I should purchase and the benefits of those parts. Thank you

bigger sway bars, better struts, lowering springs, upgraded control arms, lighter wheels wrapped in some tires with VERY stiff sidewalls.

    trailing arms dont do sit

    Lower springs.
    sway bars

and/or atleast 18s with some low pro tires will help the most.

I see you already have rims, so you got that coverd.

I actually did sway bars...then both strut tower bars...then trailing arms...then lowering springs/anti-pogo washers...

I noticed almost as much of a difference in handling with just the trailing arms as I did the sway/strut bars.

how can you say the trailing arms dont do anything when you can bend the stock ones with hard cornering?

If you are a Comp G GTP, then you don't need to mess with sway bars

    -Trailing arms
-lowering springs w/ anti pogo washers
-both front and rear strut tower bars from GM.

You can't run any of the 97-03 struts unless you get the 97-03 LCAs to do it.

When? who? The ones that have been broken are from wrecked ones.
They might help some with handing, but they were put on Police impalas to prevent them from bending or breaking going over curbs, speed bumps etcc in a pursuit.

I took many hard turns with stock arms and my sway bars, STBs, lowering springs and 18s never bent or broke.

I then got the GMPP ones later and didn’t notice a different. Maybe the rear felt a little more solid, but its nothing like a sway bar or tire upgrade.
I just put them on my regal last year with stock suspension and really didn’t notice much a difference.

Now, im not saying dont buy them. There cheap insurance, but its not a seat of pants difference like the other mods.

You can find most of the stuff in the junkyards cheap.

Summit and Jegs carry the GMPP stuff, but its usually on back order.

Gm parts direct takes too long. Monster parts online is better.
