heres a link to what you should end up with...

Alright guys, this is the easiest thing I've done. Thanks to Backinblack and others from the other thread for the info.

This is the write up with pics.

Heres the tailight.

To remove the tailight, pull the carpet up, so you can see three 'twist screws'.

Don't forget the 3'rd one.

------ Ok, your tailight should now pull freely from the car. ------

For the drivers side, you'll see a yellow wire coming out of the main brake light (3157 middle bulb). Splice the yellow wire.

On the outer 194 bulb, you will see two wires coming out. Cut the black wire, and cap the end coming out of the plastic 'piping'

Connect the black wire coming from the 194 outer bulb to the yellow wire. Tape it up. Put your taillight on, and your done.

For the passenger side, the main wire will not be yellow, it will be green. Everything else is the same.

Hope it helped.

*******Disclaimer *******
Not responsible if you fubar it, and burn your car up

I'm almost regretting inventing this mod, as it MAY wreak havoc with your LED lamps (if you have them) and digital HVAC (if you have one). Otherwise, it worked just fine with bulbs and manual controls. If problems arise, you may have grounding issues elsewhere in the car, which would not normally arise if the rear lights were not modded.
