Seafoam product

Let it suck the can empty then shut it off for about ten min then restart

Just did mine today. I bought some 7/32" vacuum line and hooked the one end into the intake under the supercharger snout. I put the other end in a cup with half a can of sea foam and let it suck it dry. The car died just as the cup was emptied. I let it set for 15-20 minutes, then I started it up, after about 3 try's to start she bucked like crazy but smoothed out withing 20 seconds. I took her for a nice drive and beat the snot out of her. The smoke was enough that a car at a red light started honking at me and pointing. Car idles and response seems to have improved dramatically.

It can't lock up the engine. I just shove the hose in the can and it sucks it dry pretty quick and then i shut the car off.

So I read the entire thread and I am wanting to get everyone's general consensus on what vacuum line EXACTLY that they use for this. Location and maybe a pic of it if you have it. I am brand new to all this and just got my GTP a week ago and was wanting to run it through my lines. Not that the car is running rough or anything it is a 2000 GTP with only has 80,000 miles on it but just to ensure there is no build up in the lines etc...I just don't want to screw anything up trying to do this. there is a t line under the supercharger snout pull that off and hook a vacuum line to it and use that.

OK, I am going to give it a try. Which hose exactly do you put in the bottle of seafoam? Sorry for so many questions....

I ran mine through the SC with no ill effects

I geuss where you run it. I ran my through the brake booster vacuume line.

I guess it matters where you put it*. I was told that it could lock your motor up of you pour to much of it in the intake

Putting any liquid into the cylinders too fast can lock it... although I dont think 1qt spread across all the cylinders would be enough to hydrolock... but best to take it slow imo

just did it to mine. EXTREME amounts of smoke, even under the hood. It took me a good minute to get the car started. Running better now, pretty cool.

Smoke under the hood prolly means u have an egr or exhaust leak.

Yeah mine smoked by the EGR didn't seem like it had a leak but must have a small one lol.

Its probably a big leak, there was quite a bit amount of smoke. You're probably right though, cause it feels like its not running under full power when i get on it, it seems to lag behind and back/misfire.

Is there a full write up with pictures fur us dummies?

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I put mine in my brake booster line but was thinking about the effect of the seafoam in the rotor pack of the blower and internals.

Putting directly into the intake might actually be better.
