    Default scottydoggs Regal GS

i thought i'd toss up some pics of my car, just crappy cell phone pics, all i can do for now, did a fast wash and wax today.

not bad for a 800 dollar car, with a grand in repairs lol the pics dont do it justus its got door dings and a dent in the front fender that you can't really see,(in the pics) some acorn dents in the hood, and lots of hood rock chips.

ok wash and wax, compounded with turtle wax liquid compound heavy to medium, and waxed with meguiars liquid wax, and a porter cable orbital buffer.

took at least 4 hours to complete, it could have used 2 more cuts with finer and finer compound but who has time for that lol.

the before's are just after i washed it.

    before

look atr the shine on the corner tail light

    AFTER SHOTS

Ran the buffer on the head lights too, they cleared up nice, they had thick haze on them.

and took the regal emblems off too.

im waiting to order a pre cut tint for the back window,(20%) doors are done already 20% in the rear, 35% up front, and i want a brow too. did the tint myself too.

and yup somewhere around 1800 total cost so far, bought it for 800, got about a grand in repairs so far(all stuff that it needed done for it to be road worthy) its dinged up and chipped, and a few dents, but its turned out to be pretty solid car so far. even for having 214,000 miles on it now.

and the paint came back to life!

thanks for the compliments, my arms feel like they are going to fall off now.

the plans are, new rims tires, new headlights and tail lights, full engine and trans build, maybe lower it a bit, ( at least the front) gen 5 upgrade, or maybe turbo it. and keeping it quiet, stock mufflers, i want sleeper status.

the ideal plan is to build another engine and trans and have it ready to just drop in, then it will be a tow car for the RV, and towed to tracks so if it should blow up im not stuck at the track with a tow bill. i'd love to break into the high 12's. but ill take low 13's.

if you still have them come winter/spring time, i may take them off your hands.

if you find a buyer in the mean time feel free to sell them.

i also found the cut out with an exhaust system on line somewhere, being that i would like the duals and it comes with it i may go that route.

and my whole back bumper cover needs to be replace as well at some point.

i dont know a whole lot about how these cars came from the factory, but ive only seen 3 other GS's around here, and one was all black too.

ive seen pics of the cars with the 2 tone as well, but it was just the plastic at the bottom of the doors and the lower bumper covers, black with silver bottom i think it was.
