Lazy s.o.b.'s just push there carts in the general vicinity of the holder, anything close will get hit.
When I said next to I meant 2-3 spots away. Still risky but from my experience park far away I will have the lonely roller cart slam into the side of my car it's happened a few times to my Moldy Olds.

Had a girl one time opened her door a bit hard into my car while I was sitting in it. I get out look at it small ding nothing much, she apologized, I said "ah not much I do body work on the side, then she says; "look to be honest I'm really not sorry, you looked cute sitting here, I was trying think of a way to get your attention and maybe a date." That's when I went nuts, I told her off like I was sitting in the car listening to the radio before I got out, knock on the damn window. At that point I asked for $40.00 bucks, she gave it to and wrote her phone number on a twenty. What and ass.

The only time I had someone open a door in the side of my car while I was sitting in it, I calmly got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, and looked at the nice new ding on my fresh repaint. The owner of the other car was perplexed by my reaction and stood in awe as I got in the passenger side, closed the door, then forcefully swung it open to ding his car. I then got out and said, "Now my door repair will be worth it." I walked back around, got in, and left.

This thread is the reason why I own a DD and a "Toy". My toy stays in the garage, and try to avoid at all costs taking it places where it can get damaged by idiots. I remember my sophomore year of college I pulled into my dorm parking lot and a few seconds after I got out of my car I heard a crashing noise. Turned around and heard another. Two idiots were throwing beer bottles at the side of a van near the other end of the parking lot.

I never like to do this but one time i was in a hurry so i parked up close to the doors at the local wal-mart and thought that everythin would b fine...well i was wrong i came out and guess what i found.... A F**KIN COP hit the front end of my car and didnt move or anything just got out and went in the store. I stayed jus to see if hed come out so i could say something but after 10 mins sitting there i jus decided to leave. his license plate and bracket put a big scuff in my front bumper..so from now on i park at the end of the parking lot its a long way to walk but id rather walk futher than have more damage to the gtp.

This one time when I was 16, I managed to fail hard at parking in a crowded lot. I put a scratch on the bumper of a skyline (aka impala with those round tail light cover things) and ****ed up the entire side of my 96 cutlass. I mean I ****ED IT UP! I was gonna leave without leaving info, because of how bad it messed up my car (and 16 year old stupidity), but too many people saw me do it.

I gave them my info, they felt bad about my car and never turned it in to my insurance.

If you're the guy parking at the end of the lot to avoid other cars, I'm THAT GUY that will park as close to you as possible.

No matter where I park or which car I am in, an SUV or truck will park next to me and obstruct my view and make pulling out safely impossible.

Reasons like this are why if I come to my car and see matching dents or scrapes on the car next to mine, I have my steering wheel anti-theft whatever-the-hell-its-called-metal-thing to jam into their door and drive away.

I go back to my car, and some douchebag had parked their beat up, white Ford Aerostar really crooked, and less than a foot away from my driver's door. I was fuming to say the least. I had to get in through the passenger side, and crawl over to the driver's seat. Then I had to try backing, and straightening out 2 times to clear the van the way this jackass had parked. So when I finally got out of the space, I parked the car behind his van, took out my notebook and magic marker, and wrote "LEARN HOW TO PARK ASSHOLE". I then checked to see that no one was around, got out, stuck the paper under his windshield, and then proceeded to completely deflate both his passenger side tires. That way, even with his spare, s/he'll be just one tire short of being able to go anywhere.

I think everyone who is a car lover has had issues with people not giving a **** and dinging damaging their car. I know my car has two decent sized dents from people opening their doors fast and carelessly. I've also gotten my windshield spit on while I was at walmart. Like spitting on a car with no one in it is badass of them or something. And I always park far away to avoid stupid people, but then there are always those other assholes who park their pos right next to your car real close on purpose... People...

Whenever I'm at school, I park at the very top deck in the corners, cuz those spots are like a car and a half wide.

I just had my car key'd..it's hardly noticeable, and the majority of the mark will be painted over when I redo the rear end of my car. But I can't believe some people are that spineless.
