dexcool would have nothing to do with that...

Personally, I would have it rebuilt by someone you know can do it. You might have to spend a little more but its a lot better than buying a used one and rolling the dice. You could always get a crate engine from zzp if you had to aswell...

if your not getting a warranty with these used engines, its time to start shopping else where.

They don't cover labor, labor cost more than the used engine itself....

true that, but a engine hoist and a pretty simple tool set, you can pull it yourself for a lot less. hoist rentals are under 100 bucks a week.

maybe this shop should be testing these engines before they are just slapped in, like a good old compression test, that can be done with the engine out of the car.

hell ive seen people use the rafters in the garage and a come along, tow truck hoists, fork lifts, theres all sorts of ways to lift a engine out.

Warrenty void if not installed by a certified mechanic.

If these are being installed correctly, programming is correct...then I can understand one or two. Not three or four. Sorry to say, but likely your new rebuilt motor would suffer the same death soon after. Something else is going on here.

we dont have that problem here, you buy it you have a warranty, done. its junk yard engine, why in the world would it have to be installed by a certified mechanic.

3 dead engines in a row, i for sure would want my money back, and then go shopping else where.

you dont know me, but i would be up the junk yard owners ass demanding satisfaction. threats of law suits work well too. make sure you have all your paper work form each engine.

in the long run, the guy at the yard dont want to go to court because that will cost him more than trying to make you whole.

if you have to call the cops and make a report at the very least, charge him with fraud. that will get his attention.

The engines were refunded but let me tell you the labor was not and even though we got a real good deal on the labor it still adds up, the biggest problem to me is the time consumption, 1st engine took 1.5 months to get in, 2nd like 1 month and 3rd was 3-4 weeks i can't walk everywhere but danm im getting good at it.

a engine swap take less than a day, your doing it all wrong, well the shop is anyway...thats some major BS. 1.5 months to do a swap that is. even 3 weeks is to long.

DO NOT BUY YOUR OWN ENGINE! Take the car to the shop and tell them to buy an engine. They buy a crap engine, it's on them. That is your fault for buying crap engines and having someone else install them. You won't get labor refunded when they use your parts. SERIOUSLY!
