There was gravel all over the road, the first race I almost hit the curb, this was a bit better. I should of outlaunched him but failed. I am trying to get another race lined up.

I'll break down the video, mods etc when i get off work.

Got a buddy that ran door to door with a SRT-10 Vert (I think the Viper had exhaust work too)...its one mean LS1...with a piss ton of tire/suspension/brake/drivetrain work and small bolt-ons like lid/headers/tune/ported tb.

LS1's are running darn quick. I think it would be fun to do one.

Both cars were dynoed on the same mustang dyno. Which if you don't know, they dyno less than a typical dyno (dynojet)

My car has 336rwhp/330rwtq.
His Viper has 390rwhp/430rwtq.

I have an aftermarket cam, LS6 intake, 4000 converter and full exhaust. I have stock 2.73 gearing.
He has headers and headwork, and maybe some different gearing not sure what else.

My car weighs 3460.
His car weighs 3340.

Both were weighed on the same scale.

Obviously I am at somewhat of a disadvantage, but if I can hook up, I think I can make it closer.

Time to buy a 9 inch buddy and never look back

I cant watch the video, but did you guys race at scribner? Ever make it down to the 1/8 mile off of Hwy 34 and I29? Just east of Plattsmouth?

THIS! Plus those 2.73's are killin' ya...but I bet it gets decent MPG's for a modded LS1

No, scribner burned down. And I've been to glenwood 1/8th (MAM), just haven't run it there yet.

I don't need a 9" but gears will be in soon.

And your gear choice is ????

Probably 3.42s. If I had m6 I would go with 4.10s. My friend has 4.30s but that's a bit much in an auto
