Quick question

Just Wondering if a Transmission out of 98 Grand Prix GTP Series ll Supercharged would fit my 2005 Grand prix GTP Series lll Engine... Anyone no the answer???

it will fit, but wont work.

you need an 04+ trans.

Yes the trans will fit the motor.

But that 98 trans can not go into the 05 GTP car.

98 trans is different than the 05.

04+ have a different PCM and way of controlling the transmission. The valve body is differnet aswell is some way.

You'll have to find a 04+ trans that is NOT a Comp G trans, but yet still a GTP trans (2.93 gearing.)

Will any of the Monte Carlos or Impalas match up???

they probably have 3.05 final drive. Won't be a direct bolt in.
