Pics of the DashZ LED Tails!

So I got a set of smoked LED tails from DashZ and I must say Im very pleased.

Pros: The fitment is absolutly spot-on and they look great. Not only are they plug and play but the electrical work is done properly as well. Ive heard of some LED tails that dont have the proper resisitance so the car thinks a turn signal bulb is out and does the "hyper-flash" when you put the blinker on. These tails work as they should (no hyper-flash) without any modification at all. Did I mention the fantastic fitment? (see pics) I would totally recoment this product to anyone looking to ditch their stock tail lights.

Cons: The "smoked" LED tails are not even close to as dark as they look in the pics on the DashZ website. I would assume that the other colors are perfect since there is no tinting but go back and forth from my pics to the ones on the DashZracing website to see what I mean.





I also got the projectors and HIDs from DashZ but while I was installing them I got a wicked headache and nausea... not fun lol. I will post pics of them as well, assuming I dont croak from whatever bug thats kickin my butt at the moment

Thanks guys This is the first car Ive owned that wasnt a pos so Im tryin to keep it looking nice. Im gunna try out the lights as they are for a week or so and see if I want to tint them a little darker later on.

A light tint couldnt hurt.

Sure thing man, I'll try to get night pics tomorow night, along with pics of the headlights/HIDs. If anyone has any other pic requests let me know and I'll take as many pics as people want. Its an excuse to use my roomate's nice-ass camera lol.

You're right, the pics from DashZ, look a lot darker than what your picture shows.

About to order my set now.....

i ordered a smoked set last week..little bummed they arent gonna be as dark as advertised but i still like em..looking forward to what they will look like on my red car
i can always get them tinted at flipstintedtails.com, he does great work, not some VHT bs

i always did like those a little bit, but they should be a bunch darker than they are.

Im a dummy and posted the night shots in the group buy thread for the LED tails...

When it gets dark here Im gunna take a bunch of higher quality night shots and create of thread of tons of DashZ projecter/HID/LED Tails pictures.

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering about making these sequential? like a 5 step one. each vertical row is it's own section....

did your lights have problems fitting i cant get mine to go on

I got the smoked ones. I love the way they look, they're not quite as smoked as I expected...but they're definitely worth the money. ESP if your tails looked as bad as mine did.
