the phenolic intercooler may be able to be modified but I don't have a SSM90 manifold and fuel rails to check the clearances.

A Wbodystore intercooler may work for you as machined.

i have to be sure since i really don't know what i'm doing. i have to find out exactly what i need. i don't know a whole lot about cars, but if you give me the parts and directions (preferably with pics/vids) i can figure it out.

What is the life expectancy of the phenolic core. I would be interested in one, just wondering how long it would hold up with the surrounding heat as well as the egr flowing through it.

EGR port is cross drilled in a thick section of the phenolic. I don't expect any problems. NA composite manifold have a problem near the EGR after many years but they are much thinner wall.

I don't have complete instructions with pictures, there are many threads on this forum and others showing intercooler installs.

bolt kits sounds good. does that mean it will include everything needed for install?

i'm actually seriously asking. i have no idea what all is needed to intercool this vehicle, but i want/need it done. that's what i'm here for, to learn and hopefully, contribute what i can.

What is needed

1. Intercooler (specific to GM 3800's) -- sseilmnop(my intercooler),zzp,wbodystore,PRJ
2. Longer bolts for supercharge intercooler combo
3. Front mount heat exchanger FMHE -- many sources and vary by the amount of room infront of radiator -- frozenboost.com, zzp, wbodystroe
4. Circulation pump to move water throught intercooler and FMHE -- GM / Bosch pump is best and easy to get -- Frozenboost, zzp, wbodystore
5. hoses and fittings -- local hardware, autoparts
6. Modified fuel rails -- stock ones go over supercharger and will not clear with the addition of intercooler -- ZZP, Wbodystore, intense
7. Modular pulley system / belt -- raise the boost pressure, and make all the HP. (not possible without intercooler and or other modifications)
