I have decided to plan another 3800 EXTRAVANZA for the spring. I believe the meet I planned in the fall was a great turnout. I think almost 40 3800's were at the meet at its peak, and about 30 at the end when I took group pictures before we left to eat. If you haven't figured it out this meet is intended for GM 3800 powered vehicles. Grand Prix, Regal, Monte Carlo, Impala etc. Others are welcome but I ask you park away from the group for pictures sake. Sunday April 10th is the date, it should be about 55 degrees outside. So I hope the warmer temperate and the nice spring weather will bring more people out. I didn't bother with a date/day poll this time, since its being posted more than a month in advanced. I think this is a acceptable amount of time for people to plan or request off work. First week in April is when the tracks open so I didn't choose that weekend and towards the end of April beginning of May alot of other events. The date should be good for most people. As you see the locations are the same as my Fall event. They both worked out well for us. Meet at the forest preserve at 2PM, we will head to Jersey's around 5PM. More details will be posted as them come available.

This sounds like a good time! Too bad I'm 8+ hours away and its on a Sunday...

How many times a year does this happen? Just spring and fall?

Yeah that's kinda a cruise, but gather the local crew and head to the Chicago area. I did one in the fall and I will probably do another in the summer. Sunday draws a pretty good crowd.

I work weekends and its too close to get it off work and I still have some work to do on the car before roadtripping it.

If you could post up the Summer one like a month in advance, I could try to get some Nebraska folk to cruise to chicagoland for a day or two.

For sure, I kinda lagged on posting this on other forums besides our local one. Id consider doing a Saturday also for the out of state members. We had a pretty big group come down from Wisconsin in the fall.

hey man not trying to invade or offend anyone here but why dont u gather all these people and bring them to the Iowa W-body meet so we can have even more people and a huge meet!!!!

i have no front sway and an impact bubble on my tire and im still going

well, not sure how far I can go when the steel belt is showing through.... Thats why I need a fellow WI to go and help change my flat(s)

I didn't get much interest off this forum last time I posted for my meet in the fall so that's why I didn't post this a month in advanced like I did on the local forum. Hope you guys can all make it.
