One of Tha Silver Karrs <Problably too Many Pictures>

Well i figured i might aswell finally get around to making one of these threads.. My car is a 2001 galaxy silver grand prix gtp had 108,000 miles on her when i bought her back in early Feb. of 2010.. been through quite a lot with it, had to put some monies into it, but have learned alot and feel its a great car. Mods on the car when i bought it IIRC was 3in dp, 3.4 pulley, cat back, tune, kn filter, and 180 thermo
Heres 2 pictures of the day i got her to my house.

yay new filter (old one was crap as you can see) along with new paint (who hasnt done red lol)

6000k hidss (not a real good pic)

traded a buddy in town for some chrome torque stars foo freee

blacked out tails and headlights for a while (to dark see, i thought looked good though)


quick photoshoot (best pic)

decided the red was old and went with a blue set up (that cover was a pain to paint like that)

entered a show for fun.. lets just say i didnt win any trophies o_0



found a super awesome tunnel and thought worth a shot

some locals

my dad liked my car enough that he bought a 2005 comp g to show me up...

made some cool grill lettering

some headers!

thought the old blue wasnt clean enough


got some gauges and a cool overlay

note the 500 mile break in of new motor is complete

got a deal on some halos from a local (old housing shot crap)

then participated in my first track days mods at the time were 3.4 pulley, sd headers, 180 thermo, Reptile tuned PCM, and a magnaflow mufflers
I ran 4 passes
first was 14.4x @ 100.86mph
second was not timed, but i beat an older taurus sho by lengths he ran like 15 something
thrid 14.3x @ 100.58mph
fourth 14.8x @ 100.24mph (track had gotten really cold that night no tractionsss) {backhalfed like a sob tho}


then the rotors and breaks went bad

then painted the calipers in the process

cat went bad soon after

and finally the most current picture of my car

nice car! i need to pick me up some of those exhuast tips, they look great

its looking good, hows the light quality on the headlights? if u would like i know away to make the projections brighter, lmk

thats the only one I have a pic of the rest are back at my house

And thanks man I think they look good aswell

Also the light output isn't terrible because I wired the highs into the lows which actually turned out pretty good and doesn't seem to bother any one.. But what was your suggestion?

There 4 screws that holed the back houseing of the projector on remove them, then remove the single screw that holds the metal baffle peice in, and remove the metal peice as well then put the baxk housing back on with the gasket and the four screws, that what I did to my girls car when I had them in.

i might have to try that out here when it gets warmer! thanks man is the metal piece like in the acutal projector part of the headlight?

i will later when it gets warmer out and i have chance to clean it up a little, but someones old blower is having some paint chipping issues boss!

Never said it was perfect, told ya it needed repainted foo...it wasn't also daily driven

ill get around to it! i have a blower gasket.. but i was saving it for later this spring or summer...

Airplane strength paint stripper works wonders, lol. Or, just take it to Jason (Painted with Powder) and have him do the whole blower...TB...etc.

hmm that would be nice... i am about to be low on monies cuz someone is taking it all..
what color do u guys think on the blower/tb? i was thinking of the same blue i have put on the blower.. then repolish the rails and coat them in clear of somekind..

this is my fastest time... yeah i cant launch i found out i had to completely let out of the throttle, still ran him down tho
Im in the left lane my buddy connor (smitygtp) was in the near lane
this was at the grand prix meet in kansas city 2011 many of you were there
2001 mods (my car) 3.4 pully, intake, sd headers, reptile tune i ran 14.30 @100.79mph
1999 mods (his car) Intake, reptile tune.. ran 14.4x at 95mph.. (possible??)

It's just held in by one screw, and all it does is put the line on the road when ur lights are.
