New Ride :D

Got a new car yesterday, got a good deal on it.

Straight to the point:

00' Honda S2000

6 Speed

Has a HKS Performance exhaust setup, other then that it's stock.

It's a fun car, handles awesome, nice ride considering the stiff suspension, Vtec is funny, and get's 24 mpg city / 34 hwy.

I dont mind those. What you pay for it?

despite what ppl think vtec is pretty awesome and sounds cool as hell...very clean car..what are your plans for it?

I think it's hilarious, at 6k rpm's the car gets a sudden boost and goes, red-lines at 9k. It does sound pretty cool, especially with the exhaust setup, it has a nice DEEP tone, instead of a rice can sound.

I'm just going to daily drive it, not doing anything to it.

i had a friend who had one of these. he absolutely loved it and autocrossed it. then he sold it, got an old M3, and hates his m3. he's trying to sell it now to get another s2k

That's about the only Honda I would ever try to make fast. You're a turbo setup away from having a helluva fun car.

Or, lower it on some wheels and be happy. Nice car, man.

Yeah, these things love the abuse, there's a video of a 701hp single turbo S2000, on a stock motor.

But these hold better re-sale value if kept clean and stock, which is all I'm going to do. I like the current wheels to.

Only thing I do not like is that it is a soft top. I hate convertibles.

get the hard top for it. looks better

In florida, convertibles are nice.

I do like the hardtop look to.

30 minutes from West Palm Beach.

i think a little 6 speed would be an awsome DD. that and a new civiv Si would prly be the only ones i would drive, just because it would be fun.

honestly, picking up an old used one of these bad boys or a miata to autocross with would be fun as ****. good choice.
