Default new here and got a couple questions

alright, ive searched all over trying to find a way to turn off the tcs/tm on my 97 gtp there is no button... i only want to turn it off so i can heat my tires at the track tonight.. i already know the danger to the trans, i have a spare trans just in case. so if anybody knows a way to do it please let me know.. also i am thinking of doing a fuel system clean, but i have never done one on a s/c engine and was wondering if it might be bad for the s/c????? thanks for any info you might have

Pull the ABS fuse...if there is one...it works on everything else I've ever done it on.

The only way to get rid of tm is a tuner.

There isn't a traction control system on a 97 GTP. It's the only year that doesn't have it because the Declo/Delphi system couldn't handle it.

Oh my bad. I'm almost positive you'll need a tuner for that.

If you want to get around TM for a track day, reach under and unplug your two front wheel speed sensors. When the pcm can't see what's going on, TM is disabled.
