Question Need info on Seat Removal- 97 gtp

I need to know how to remove the seats in my 97 gtp coupe.

Rear- I know how to take the bottom "seat" part out, but what about the back rest part. I looked at it and it looks like to little bolt on bottom and two big nuts that hold the seat belt also. (am i right?)

Front- It looks like huge T-bits (or star bits) hold down the track. (am i right?) If so does anyone know what size those are?

Any info on Bolt/nut size or different connectors to look for would be much apreciated.

ty 4 reading plz post anything that helps.

*also, idk if i posted this in right place... if there is a better section to post interior info questions please lmk.

Yeah you have to remove those bolts that hold the seat belts on, on my 97 they were 15mm iirc. And I don't know about the fronts have never tried to remove them.

    Front seats.

Move the seat forward most of the way and look at the tracks in the back. There is a 15mm bolt holding each side of the track to the car. One bolt each side.
Now slide the seat back so it's about even with the track.
Tilt seat all the way back
From back seat lift up and forward on the whole seat. Then pull the back lower edge of the seat to you. This should disengage the hooks in the front that hold the tracks to the body fo the car.
Bring seat back up to the normal position
    Lift seat out of car.
If you want to move away with it. Remove the one 15mm nut holding the seal belt to the seat.

If Dave feels 60% throttle is 100%, what does he tell his wife.

    100% right
Yeah I went to the junkyard to find leather seats. Walked out with full leather interior. Bye, Bye Cloth

Upgrade to leather interior for $142. No rips, no stains.

*also I wish it was that easy at the junkyard. Power seat and no battery ment i had to take motors out and the two gear things in order to push seat foward. was a pain in da ass.

Next time you'll bring a cordless drill and pull the cable off, then use your drill to move the seat.

    **SNAP**

PS, had you said you were JY'ing..I'd have mentioned that part.

    You sir are a genius.

But still didnt bring a cordless... wasnt too bad tho, removed the motors with 1 bolt and pulled cables off. Then it was just 4 10mm bolt for the gear thingys. But the tight space made for some headaches.
