    I have 11' ceiling.

    I bought a MaxJax
MaxJax Portable Two Post Lifting System by Dannmar

Even with a high ceiling I wanted something just enough to sit under car and work. Plus I didn't feel like raising my garage door equipment. I also have a hanging platform that I store my slicks and skinnies on.

Plus I can always unbolt the posts and move them. One thing I did was extend one of the hydraulic hoses so I can run the hose around the walls of my garage and not across the floor under the car

It is not permanent. It can unbolt and move.

I got it thru Summit for $2248. They do price match minus $1. Plus they were offering free freight. Couldn't pass that up.

Did you have to put studs in or drill some type of holes or something some how?

Have to drill holes. They supply the anchors and bolts.
