Matt's Baby...2005 GP GT...lol

alright guys, im finally making a ride thread. she's a 2005 grand prix gt, color is sport red. mods ive done so far are spyder ccfl halo projector headlights, cg led tail lights, custom open cone intake, corsa catback exhaust, thrasher shift kit, and painted calipers.

first was the intake



then i did the spyder headlights



then came the corsa catback (courtesy of Max aka intrigue98)

had to redo a weld that still had a leak in it. i think my dad did a pretty good job welding it


















next install was the thrasher shift kit





springs and spacers being used








next i did the cg tails





lastly i did the calipers





so yeah thats my ride

this was my stock exhaust

this was when i had no exhaust for a brief moment lol

corsa sport catback exhaust

pic of night time visibility with the spyder lights?

video of the thrasher shift kit (listen for the small puff noise when it shifts thats the tires chirping lol). and it also showcases the corsa exhaust from in the cabin with the windows open.

dont have one yet. i still have to adjust them a bit and i keep forgetting lol. once i do that ill take some pics. they are pretty bright, they dont compare to HID's or anything of that sort though.

yeah im saving up to have bill tune my car lol. and max is pretty awesome, i mean when you sell a kid a corsa catback for $425 you are awesome lol. and where abouts are you located? must be nearby if you are going to chill with bill

i like them too, they will look even better when i get the SE rear fascia that has the round cutouts for the tips!

I'm meh on the SE rear. Plus all SE parts are OMGHIGH nowadays. I paid almost $500 for my SE lip painted. Might have been $400, don't member. So what other plans are in stock for this beast?

well next thing in line will be a res delete cuz as u can see in the pics the corsa res is huge and sometimes it scrapes lol. plus i just want it louder. then in the next few years i will be top swapping and probly do headers with that. and i foresee my trans going in the next few years so maybe a built trans. but the top swap and built trans will be after i have a second car....i saving up for a bimmer with awd and a 6 speed so i can deem the gp my project lol. then if i succeed in reaching my career goal of being a doctor i will be hoarding money to bring the gp into a customs shop to make it a coupe, rwd v8 with a 6 speed lol

Right on man, hope all comes true to ya. Would definitely be nice to see a 04+ GP coupe. If I had it my way 5 spd, RWD conversion, gutted, and a big ole' nasty snail. But then again... it's only a GP.
