Lost Yesterday

I was on my way to buy another car yesterday. It was myself, my girlfriend, and 3 of my friends, so the car was full. I was just cruising and a couple of my buddies were telling me to "test out" the supercharger. I was on an open road, so I go WOT. There was a guy in the lane next to me about a car to a car and a half ahead of me that I wasn't paying any attention to, but when I gassed it, he went too. We went at the same time, he probably went as soon as he heard I had hit it. We went til I shut down around 90 because I knew I wasn't gunna get him and he had moved over to my lane. He was driving a Mercedes Benz CLK55 AMG. It was funny because I just wanted to show off my car to my friends, then I hear a great sounding V8 and I see this AMG badge and I knew that there was no way I could win. My friends started getting pumped. The Benz had to have been just playing with me, because he stayed about a car to a car and a half ahead of me. I wanted the road to open back into a 2 lane so that I could at least give him a thumbs up and maybe ask how much the car was, maybe even go again just for fun, but I had to turn off and never got to talk to him. So there it is, I lost. No vid because I wasn't expecting to race.
Summary: Mercedes Benz CLK55 AMG > stock 01 GTP (full).

I bet he wasn't even on it. They're rated 333hp.

Just looked it up, 362. I don't know a lot about Mercedes Benz, but I was expecting 400+, something about the AMG badge I guess. And he was definitely playing with me, like I said.

M3 is rated 333hp, the CLK55 AMG is around 360, I think they run low 13s.

I just googled it and skimmed the first result.

Either way, would have smashed a stock GTP.

333, 360, 400+, W/E it doesn't matter... your also not factoring in the weight of the CLK, gearing, suspension or german engineering that goes into them. Alot more than 100+ hp allows them to stomp a mud hole in our cars on a stock to stock level... straight line or cornering.
