Default Knock Retard on Stock 99 GTP

I hooked up my scan gauge on my 99 GTP today to check and see if I was getting any knock retard. I have a completely stock gtp with no upgrades and have been debating about getting the Speed Daddy headers in the future. I now am getting about 2 -3 knock retard under WOT through 2nd gear and it jumps up to about 5 in 3rd grear. Is this normal knock retard for stock?

All cars knock from factory. That's normal. Good? I would say no. Something to stress about? Nope. Install the headers and you'll see that 2-3 drop down to maybe 0. You have any modifications done to the engine?

Thanks for the replies. I have not done any modifications to the engine yet. I am currently running the Walmart 93 octane gas in it. I'm not convinced to purchase the Speed Daddy headers yet because I don't know how reliable they are. It would be great if I did have 0 kr.

Get better gas the walmart stuff sucks. I get less KR on shell gas here in town then any other gas i've ever got since scanning.
