HAHAH Awesome
i dont see point in burnouts, just a fast way of destroying your tires haha, yea u get more traction when they are heated up but still

Killing off an old set of tires.. WIN
Not sure whether or not there was any fact to it, but I read an article a while back that stated a "mythbusters" style testing on street tires whether burnouts before racing made a difference. On slicks and drag radials of course it made them softer and stickier, but it showed (again, not sure how truthful it really was) that on most normal tires burnouts to heat them up didn't make that much of a difference. They said given the compound on most tires, it harder for longer drive-ability and won't get much more traction when heated up beyond normal driving temps.
Plus it destroys the tires
The only regular street tires it makes a difference on are a few really high performance summer tires that need a bit of heat to get sticky. Any normal all season tire, it's a waste. You can do a quick peel to clean the surface if you want, but a burn out is a waste.

you would be 100% right, that's exactly what the cop said as he was standing at my door while the wheels were still spinning lol
he said if the neighbors call the fire department im getting a citation for the complaint. it was a lot of smoke. like thick clouds that just hazed the street down bad and just wafted over yard after yard lol
i had tire smoke coming out the windows, from under the hood, it was everywhere lol

Nope the guy owns the house I believe, I found one of them on Facebook and have been talking to him on and off all day. He actually knew me right when I messaged him, His friend wanted to race me one night at the "local meet up" with a TC Cobalt making it seem like it was stock. I turned down the race as I don't want to die.

i got my first ticket from pealing out or i should say "squeeling of tires". Got it when i was 16 just six days after i got my license. i was driving my truck. lol like mentioned before, young and dumb. its definately true.
now what wouldve been funny is if the brakes failed on that old mustang and he went thru the garage lol
If they would have just did the burnouts in the driveway and never went onto the streets that's different.
