Well not to point fingers but I had bought a 305 tbi camaro with 205k original miles, drove the balls off the car and sold it still running at 255k.
And how many gm trucks have you seen with well over 200k? I also just sold a 4.3 blazer with 240k miles...the transmission lasted 230k. I have faith in my gm vehicles, if you dont...then sell yours and find a new fourm.

Peacher, Right On! Sure GM has had a few duds, but by and large they produce well made cars and trucks. I work in an auto parts/service shop, we see Duramaxes come in with 600k on them and still ready for more.

My bosses truck is an 08 with 205k and its just now broken in.

Like I said before, my GP has 214k. As long as they are maintained properly there is no mileage limit on these cars. Also, the body does not have a single rust spot on it, so even if i had to buy a new engine, it would be worth the investment. I cant say the same for my mother's KIA, its an 02 with about 120k. She needs to have half the car rebuilt every year to pass inspection.

Ac compressor, sway bar, sway bar links, exhaust, lca bushings, radiator, water pump, wheel bearings, abs sensor, struts, trailing arms, blower motor resistor, blower motor, CPS, power steering pump/rack/lines, lim gasket, L36 UIM, valve cover gaskets, catalytic converter, park lock solenoid, radio light, transmission (lol 4t65e), etc.

Many other things can fail, but most of this has failed on my car that presently has ~89 000 miles on it.

    WOOOO WHALE BODIES!

I really like the guys who install them wrong them blame the quality of the dorman pieces for their failure.

keep in mind my f150 has the 4.9 six, you know the ford motor that runs with low oil and no coolant lol i seen a honda crack and oil pan and lock up going 75mph, when we stopped it still had some oil left so it goes to show hondas dont hold up as well as they claim
