All that work and all those mods mean nothing if your ride isnt clean
my guess would be in the 135-145 range, but only a guess

Had mine up to the max at 120,, but still went a tad faster
I was goin 125 at one point on Interstate 5, on a recent trip back from LA I was goin over 145 through Camp Pendleton....depends how your car is set up.
in the GTP I was going 152...but it would still go mph...every mile or two....not much more after that when it was mainly stock.
I have had my GT up to 119.....doesnt really have much more

144mph confirmed at the top of third for me... if the rev limiter was higher, it would've been higher, but I didn't want to shift into OD while going that fast. Only did it once though, as I really don't need to be hitting a tree, or much worse, another innocent driver.
iev only hit 130 in my gtp soo far with my new pcm in it.

I hit 134mph chasing down a WS6 Firebird (I caught that sucker too and nearly got around him but we came up on traffic). I dont know if it would have went faster or not, it was within a month of me getting the GTP and before I had started modding.
A friend of ours has had his Grand Prix up to 155. We had our old Grand Prix up to 134, and my 442 I had her up to 130. The Cutlass has been up to 143 with a different motor in it.
I was under the impression that the cars were gear limited to about 153ish.

How do you figure that? What if your shift points are 6700? What about 4th gear? I have heard of guys going well over 165 though it takes a LONG stretch to get to! Our old 95/L67 car would shift into 4th at around 5500 rpm and that was in the 135ish range.
Highest I got mine up to was about 145mph I think. Stock 2.93's & 6300rpm shifts.

just remember that if someone says they went 200mph in their gp they are lying, the vette had enough power, but not the aerodynamics to do it until recently
I've never topped out my prix, to me it never seemed like that kind of car. My sho on the other hand made power up top and with the open intake and the secondaries opening up at 3400 rpm's it made it real fun. I think if I raced both of them together from 80mph+ the sho would win, but those kind of races get people killed and I'm not a fan.

My son asked how fast our GP would go one day. I slowed down at 120. Can't drive like that with the kids in the car! Unless we're runnin from the cops
BTW, someone on BC did the math once, and I believe redline in OD would hit around 170 for 2.93s. Theoretically. Obviously drag would kill it long before then for a stocker...

It took a bit of time to get there once I hit 140mph she
started to slow down, but kept climbin.
