.) Activate the park brake to avoid from rolling.
.) Turn the key to the accessory function, apply the brake, and move the shifter to the lowest gear.
.) There is a screw on the shifter that needs removed, Phillips #2, and remove shifter after screw is out.
.) Apply the brake, and move shifter back to the Park location.
.) There is four 10mm bolts that need to be removed on remove the console.
.) Ensure that both seats are either all the way back or forward. You should have easy access to two console bolts, one on each side towards the bottom.
.) After you have either the front or back two out, slide the seats in the opposite direction to gain access to the last two bolts.
.) After the shifter and four bolts have been removed, gently wiggle up the back part of the console.
.) When the rear part of the console is free you can slowly pick up the whole console and set it aside. Taking note that the car outlet has a power wire still connected to it. You do not need to remove if you simply set it aside.
.) Under the shifter plate should be a bulb base that is turnt inside of it.... just turn it out and the bulb should be on the base.... bulb is a 194.
.) Do the same steps in reverse order, start by sliding the console under the front dash first. Then firmly locking in the rear part.
.) After the console and shifter is back on, you can release the park brake.
