    Default How difficult to R/R teh 4T65E-HD

    Hello I'm a newbie looking to start with my first project and found a modded out GTP with a blown trans (only drives in 1st). I have found a few used take out trans but most places around here charge $400 to r/r the trans. Anyone done this that can elaborate on what is details (pics would be helpful)? How hard is this and what special tools or procedures are needed?

    $400 isn't to bad to get it done but it can be done in a weekend with hand tools and about 2ft of extensions. There is a write up somewhere.
    98 GTP 230K miles scrapped

    the ***** bolt is even easer to get to if you remove it after the subframe/ engine cradle is removed
