    Angry HID's in reflector housings

I honestly can't stand it, everyday their is dodge ram on my way to school with like 8K HID fogs and headlights, always has his fogs on and it blinds the crap out of me (almost hit a deer this morning because of them) it also doesn't help that its back roads so I cannot see the road. I'm about to follow him and yell at them. Yesterday morning I took our Colorado with blinding stock headlights and gave him a good light show(prob a bad move). I'm done raging. Anyone other then me hate this?

I guess I should rephrase it when aimed properly, most people around me just throw them on and don't adjust and its bad.

you cannot aim them properly while still allowing yourself to see. impossible.

NOT impossible... I have done it good sir.... I have NEVER had anyone flash their lights at me... NEVER... And yet my lows are now 100% better then my highs used to be....

you dont have to try and prove it to me, i had HIDs in stock housings. i know how they work and i know you cant do it. it doesnt work that way based on something called geometry.

you can think all you want. just because you're not getting flashed doesnt mean people arent getting blinded.

I usually refrain from flashing my highs because why have 2 blind drivers drive at each other + my GP's headlights are terrible...

    It's a true story.

They must be aimed pretty damn low anywho, because I got flashed all the time in Michigan in the 'Balt, granted I can see for two miles I'm sure it pisses everyone else off.

HIDs in stock halogen housings are illegal. Just call and report the guy, if cops are up for it, they will hand out fix-it tickets for that stuff.

Aiming the reflector down actually points the light more towards their eyes.

Both my cars are fitted with HID projectors.

Only install HID's in your highs so you can turn them off when someone is coming towards you. This is what I did with my 55w 4300K, they light the road up pretty good, then also did the fog+high mod for the heck of it and installed 50w bulbs in there.

Does removing the spare count as weight reduction?

Those are legal. Those are D2r/D1r bulbs, the projectors tend to use d2s/d1s. See the shelf at the bottom of this light

That's not bad because it won't bounce and kill your eyes

Have you rode in a Colorado at night? The low beams are a bright as the highs on my GP. Then the highs let you see like its daytime its like god rolling down road.

A neat little trick I learned...don't look at the lights and carry on.
