Default help me install my boost gauge!

Hey guys, about half way through my boost gauge install.

    couple questions.

    1) is reading of 15-16 hg normal for vaccum?

2)I tapped in with a T under the supercharger snout. However there is a vac cable that goes into the snout T and one cable that comes out of the snout T which leads to the bbv if Im not mistaken. I tapped in with a T "after the snout" so in between the bbv and the snout T. Is this fine to read boost and vac or should i change it to tap into before the snout T??

3)should it read boost in park?? don't think it was didnt get a chane to drive it yet. my dic gauge has always read full bars.

if anyone can help me out here i'M almost done!

Yes you can read boost in park.

You should actually "T" it in under the MAP sensor on the back of the supercharger vac lines, not under the snout.

^ is there a reason for that? or just to save line when you run it back into the car?

follow the vac lines to the backside of the supercharger.

The MAP sensor is a black 3wire sensor bolted to a bracket.

"T" into the vac line that runs to it.

Yes, because that is the proper location for a reading.

Everything else is gonna get poopoo skewed.

Now diagnose it.. Look up the code and check the heater circuit fuse.

As for the vacuum line. It doesn't matter where you T into the line. You need to be hooked in anywhere on the horseshoe of line from BCS to FPR to LIM to MAP. Doesn't matter a bit where in that line you tap in. Not sure why Blueguy was pushing you to put it in a nice clean location vs making a mess under the snout.

If Dave feels 60% throttle is 100%, what does he tell his wife.
