My translator isn't turned on and warmed up yet.. lol good job on that one.

If you jump up 5 like that.. you have load or a misfire. Try turning the AC off and seeing if that issue persists.

If Dave feels 60% throttle is 100%, what does he tell his wife.

5 nd is 5 and lol.

I don't think it is misfiring no sudden changes in the exhaust idle at all. No problems in acceleration. The car runs great

update: so my gauge reads about -18 or -19 hg vac which seems normal.

I did a bit of looking into the engine when the needle on the gauge rises every 10 seconds.

It seems every 6 seconds to be exact a surge noise comes from around the boost bypass valve. Is this normal? It happens on the same time interval each time 6 secs exactly. This is with ac completely off.

When i turn ac on it stays steady at -18 to -19 vac no surge noise no fluctuation on the gauge

    any thoughts??

You sure it's the BCS and not the evap soleniod? Opening of the evap soleniod would introduce some tank vapor etc into the intake and lower the vacuum reading.

I am not sure what it is all I know is that a surge noise comes from the engine bay near the bbv every 6 seconds with ac off.

On this interval the vac reading rises the same exact amount every time then returns to a correct reading of 19hg. Reading stays steady 19 ug if ac is on.

Doesn't seem like a big deal

Dude.. I tried to say.. in a technical way. That you are seeing the correct functioning of your evap valve and your vacuum gauge. aka.. you don't have any problems.
