Sorry, I don't know. I have a Regal and it's a little different. Would have told you if I knew which one it was. You may have to do a lttle research. I'm sure if you search here, you can find something that'll help you out.

I don't think it is under hood fusebox because I don't see it on the fuse diagram.
anyone one know where i can get a replacement 1/8" rubber t fitting? Dropped mine behind the engine compartment..very dumb.
also i tapped the wires for the gauge into the orange illumination on the deck and ground and got nothing at night with my headlights on. I will try a 12v switched instead of the orange tomorrow. this install is taking way to long....
should have tried the orange wire coming from the car. not the wire on the deck
Orange isn't illumination. gray is.

Thats funny the orange wire said illumination right on it. It was the wire that came out of the harness u plug into the actual car harness
The orange wire is an optional hook-up that will dim your gauge when your lights come on. I spliced my orange wire to one of the wires going to my fog light switch. It must have a full 12v signal, not a variable voltage that changes with your dash lights. A switch may be easier, but the results won't be as professional.

also quick thing about the vac line hook up to the gauge itself, i followed the way to secure it with the furule and screw mounts, however i can still pull the vac tubing right out of the back of the gauge even when all hooked up. is this normal with the autometer mech gauges??
Nope..you didn't do it right.

I don't understand how. I followed the instructions it came with and it doesn't secure 100% to the back of the gauge
what gauge do you have? I am looking for a brand name here, so I can better help you. or please tell me what color wires are in your gauge pigtail.
red-should be a switched power source, like your ignition. Mine is spliced into my fuel pump power
yellow- idk if your cluster would have this, mine does do to multiple color backlight choices. but should be a constant 12v. i hooked mine up to the yellow wire on my HU harness
black- find a good ground
orange- switched 12v. most people splice this wire into their headlight switch. on my gauge (glowshift) this power signal dims the backlight by 30%.

autometer self lit gauge. There is no wires coming from the gauge. There was just 2 contacts, 12v, and Ground.
according to this my dimmer might be gray not orange for some reason.

gotcha.
the orange wire, in your case, won't do you a bit of good. I'm not used to these fancy new cars, mine's an 02
check voltage from your gray wire to ground. it should varie between 9.5v-12v as you adust you dimmer switch. just stick a probe of your multimeter in the back of the connector plug.
see how that works out.
good luck

update:
Couldn't get the dimmer function to work for the life of me just ended up tapping into a 12v switched.
So gauge is mounted and lights up great.
only little problem is I am getting a reading of 17hg vacuum t idle and about every 20 seconds it rises about 5 nd drops bck down to 17.
Does this mean there is a leak? any thoughts?
bump for some advice
What's 5 nd?
