    Default Hard Shifts+SES light

So I start my drive home just fine. I shut the car off after driving for about 10 minutes. Start it 5 minutes later, starts off fine but then starts shifting hard. It was mild at first but kept getting worse until it set the SES light and then stayed shifting very hard and seemed to shift earlier then it normally would. I havent been able to pull the code yet but does anyway have any opinions. Ive had a slight shudder into 2nd before but it was a hot day and i had been stuck in slow traffic for 20minutes or so. then another time under the same condition, hot and slow traffic that the trans would not shift into second. both times shut it off and let it cool and it was fine. Slide note, trans is a fresh rebuild 5 months maybe 5000 miles, professional done.

well when i took it to the guy who built the tranny he pulled the codes and said the only one present was P0742 which he said was the TCC was stuck on. Now he said it should have stalled when i came to a stop and it never did, act like it wanted to. of course the car wasn't acting up when he drove it so he told me to put some lucas in it and see what happens, that maybe there is a ball that is stick in the valve body. I know theres another code in there bc 2 months again there was a code in there for improper gear ratio. i dont see how that disappeared

Improper gear is calculated. Sometimes from slippage or programming that isn't quite right.

Makes since either way theres a warranty on it so if it goes he can fix it, he told me to drive it. i was just curious as to what was going on and if there was a simple thing i could do to fix it.
