Hard shifts

Hello all, Great website, first posting. I have an '04 grand prix with just over 100k. Trans has been shifting hard and getting worse lately. Seems to be worse under light accleration and less noticible under heavy accleration. Does this sound common?, any help would be appreciated.

I'd do a pan drop...has the trans been serviced? I say get a new filter and a few bottles of new fluid and see if that helps any.

My 00 use to act like it would double shift: my 02 occasionally would shift hard, more when it warmed up. This started after a tranny flush so I took it to a friend who dropped the valve body, cleaned it and installed a new filter and fluid. In 5,000 miles it may have shifted hard 2 or 3 times but runs smooth now. I think the flush knocked something loose in the valve body and the little extra care took care of it.
