    Default GTP vs. 350z

    Two digs...

Race 1:He launched easy, i spun.Still put a car or so on him til 70 when his nose was at passenger door

Race 2:both launched hard and spun, left a car on him then neck and neck at 65ish.Let off.

I thought id get smoked since all i have is an intake but apparently damn im impressed what this car has, he was a 6spd probably stock and pre VQ35 rev-up engine. The end!

Thats bad ass man.. I have never got to race a 350z always wanted too. I raced a g35 coupe the other day on the highway going about 70 I pulled on him it was ****ing awesome. For some reasons our grand prixs really have pull around 70

Yea G35s and 350z are pretty much the same, so you raced a 350z lol.Yea i shut it down after i realized we were in a 45 zone lol.But it was all good fun.Just a few bolt ons like headers and a tune and i would keep him off even longer.

Me and Darren have the quickest n/a cars on here I would say.. And I know for a fact that I wouldn't even touch a g35 up top.

From a dig, I could hold it off for a bit, but it is gonna come bite me really ****ing quick

A tip: Don't mash the gas right away, roll into the throttle and then hammer on it.

    160 FWHP; 3500~lbs.

    260+ RWHP; 3600~lbs.

    Yeah, this is logical.

    Then...

    210FWHP; 3500~lbs.

    More logic.

Adding a supercharger apparently slows your car down. Must be all that parasitic drag.

My only rebuttle is the older models were 287chp then up to 306chp in later years... if it were an older model with the crappier engine, and high miles and whatnot... I could see it if the guy missed a shift and had to play catch-up.

Is 260+ rwhp right for a stock one, that seems a little high to me?

I raced my friends ex's 350z but it was an older one with a 6spd auto and stock to stock with my GTP it was a good run, but too close for my tastes.

    I question this.
In my stock gtp I've raced a 350z, we held almost dead even to around 45, and then by 70-75 my headlights were in line with his taillights.

Im not bragging but i did launch better then him on both pulls even though run 1 he took off easy. Its all about low end torque apparently, and like i said by 65-70 he was reeling me in a lil.Was able to chew off a car or so back to be basically neck n neck with me.And ive seen a good amount of stock 350z dyno numbers usually anywhere between 220-240whp on average.

as you see my mods in my sig, i pulled a car and was walking from a 60 punch to about 95, this was against a g35 coupe 6mt with intake and exhaust.

that was with a nasty vacuum leak and exhaust leak. didnt know about vac leak at the time.

i dont believe a stock n/a gt can pull a 350z/g35, if you did, they were not racing.

You have no idea what your talking about my na has great top end speed. My bro had a 02 gtp with a smaller pully headers an intake. All i had was an kn intake i kept up with him till about 100 then he pulled on me. IDK what it is about 3800 III they have good top end. Well at least mine does and yea i did take that G35 no need to lie about that
