    Default gtp to monte ss question

    Hey guys. I just bought a 05 Monte Carlo ss tony Stewart edition and I was wondering what I could take off the gtp to put on the Monte. Catback, Cai, rotors, pads.... I have a 3.4 setup on the gtp. Thanks

    Yes.

    Everything fits.

    Although every car being different the Monte might not be knock free if the GTP was.

    Just something to keep in mind, as well, the catback might be a little different so you might have to get additional hangers welded on, etc.

    Or, just use the SD Headers with the factory catback system...so you can hear the blower more.

    What year gtp did you have?
    98 GTP 230K miles scrapped
    04 Comp G 180*, HAI, poly db's, zzp stb's, UMI ta's, Speedbuilt sways, DNA springs, Port and polished heads, S1X, sd headers.

    I still have it. It's a 2000. Also what would be safe for me to change without having to do anything with the pcm.

    headers and tstat and intake.

    those zzp wires in your sig like to cause problems.

    I wouldnt drop to a 3.4 without doing a tune of sorts.

    And run 605's for now if you want to change plugs.
