I am new to the forum and have noticed that most of the discussion seems to be about late model Grand Prixs. Why is that? Does any one else own or enjoy earlier Grand Prixs?

77 Grand Prix. For Sale.
Of course i lobe the older generation but considering most of us have a 97-03 or 04-08.
There are a few guys roaming around with 88-96 gps too. The reason that most of the discussion is about the 97+ grand prixs is because they are newer and there are more of them around.

Yes but they started building them in the early 60s. Does anyone have pre 80s Grand Prixs? Not that there is anything wrong with the later models...
77 Grand Prix. For Sale.
ive seen a few guys pop in and not stick around with 60's and 70's GP's. this site is really geared towards the 90's and up.
must say id love to have a any 60's GP in a heart beat.
back in the 80's when i was in HS my best friend had a 77 GP very easy to work on, we used pull the engine and trans in one shot in less then a hour. but then again we were doing it every other month lol

As has been stated is all about numbers. Considering there were over 1 million 97-03 Grand Prix's produced and add to that the other W bodies of that era and you will understand why this is geared toward late models.

My first car was a 73 GP. Wish I had it now. Paid $300 for it and it was stout. 400, 4bbl and duals, rallyIIs. copper w black top and black int. My bro in law had a 71, I think it was. Good cars, good times.

Thanks for the Monte suggestion. Cheap gas is nice but I think that's all over with, and yet I continue to own V8s. At least my wife's car only has 5 cylinders.

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
Damn i'm good. lol
