A few friends and I are heading to AZA tonight...should be interesting. Any of you guys been yet? Is the paintball option worth it (basically the only reason we're going - to shoot fools dressed like zombies in the face with paintball guns )?

Paintball was just a shooting range with some people as moving targets. meh. The main event was a much better use of time and money.

Especially since I'm now using the car to deliver newspapers. Don't really need OD when I'm delivering, but going to and from the warehouse I do. And, a rebuilt transmission probably will give me another 100k.
Cotton transmission in Lagrange is the best I know about btw I'm Nate I have imp ss but I use the Gp forums because of the wbody platform is pretty much the same just with different wrappers

A little late to respond to that post. I already took it to Jeff at Extreme Performance in Woodstock and had him do it.

How much did he charge cotton says 1500 if he pulls it and put your hard parts in and 1200 if you pull it and he rebuilds it.

Yeah, I was really disappointed with the paintball part. Really short and lame (What, no hordes!?) for $30 extra bucks. I was very amused tho because of my friend that had a tank full of Jager while trying to get headshots - more entertaining that the attraction itself. The rest was okay, but they need to have a horde somewhere - it's just not a zombie "apocalypse" without one .

    Finally settled on a location.

The car show is going to be on March 30th right here: 1032 marietta parkway - Google Maps from 10am to 4pm.

Admission cost will probably be $5 and registration will be around $10.

This is kind of an old thread but...I moved here about 6 months ago. (Marietta-Powder Springs) area. I have a small shop in my basement, nothing fancy. I have a 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula edition that I put a L67 in from a 1998 GTP. The motor/trans have around 30,000 miles on them, but the power from the stock motor got kind of boring (far from slow, it keeps up with my step dads 2011 V6 mustang, just was ready for something more) currently have the motor pulled and down to the block, I am not going to touch the bottom end. Build plans are ported TB, ported LIM, ported blower with silencer block off plate, XP cam with supporting valvetrain mods, Headers, thinking about 3.25 MPS, and a custom tune from GMtuners of course.
Jmax gtx, I am about 20 minutes north of 6 flags, sounds like you have a great setup!
Also, I am a Union Sheet Metal worker by trade. Work for RF Knox Co out of Smyrna (mainly a HVAC company, but we specialize in custom metal fabrication. IF it is metal, and you can imagine it, we can build it!) so I have access to a sheet metal shop with all the welding rescourses, large variety of material, paint building, sand blaster, spot welders, brakes, sheers, rollers, etc etc etc if anybody needs something done that they think I can do, just let me know. I love tinkering!

88formula stop by when you get the chance It's winter and I am retired so around most of the time. "call 770-630-1609. JohnK" I am helping with a car show on Sat in Mcdonough and on Sun will be in the garage helping a club member replace his axils. Moding is my middle name so any help with metal fab is a plus The GP is on air bag suppression and the front does not drop enuff for me trying to figure out how to drop a little more.

Anxious for this! I am still really hoping to have my Fiero put back together/drive able when this goes on.

If anyone in the Atlanta area is looking for a tuner Jeff at EngineeredPerformance is a great guy. Had my car tuned by him in Marietta and was very pleased with the experience. He knowswhat he is doing.

You are the second person on here to say that, so I am leaning more towards having him tune my car once it is finished. What is your mod list? How much did the tune cost? Please let me know! Within a few weeks I will be expecting my build to be done and be ready for some tuning.

I have a transmission he rebuilt in my GP now. I use my GP for delivering newspapers, so lots of stops and starts daily while putting over 100 miles a day on it. I might be getting rid of my GP in a few weeks, so if you want a running coupe for parts, I know where you can find one.

He had a transmission available on the bench, so I didn't have to leave my car with him. I just paid for parts up front for the rebuild, and he contacted me when he was ready to install it.

This may be a stupid question, but did you have a wideband? I have absolutely zero knowledge on tuning, but have heard that having a wideband makes it easier to do?

I'd be interested in the plog, downpipe, and the switch panel for the windows and mirrors on the drivers side. Kinda broke mine....and maybe also the rear view mirror.

Why are you parting out your GP? When I get my tax refund any day now I am going to be looking for a Regal GS/GTP
