Question Gen V Swap, Slow Blower Boost

Hi Guys. I just recently completed my Gen V blower swap but have a few questions for any experienced swapping experts.
First of all, it seems that the boost and power are not as quick as my Gen III at lower rpms. Once the engine rpm shoots up, the blower is more powerful yes. Is this normal?
Next, I noticed the BBV mounting bracket is slotted to mount it higher or lower. Does it matter how it is mounted? What is the difference?
And, is a new tune recommended or beneficial for this swap?

I appreciate your help! Please advise.

First question is what are all of your mods? If you are running the same size pulley as the GenIII then there is the first issue...you've got to compensate for the more efficient supercharger that you've got...

The way i mounted my bbv, is i put the screws in almost snug, so the bracket still slides, then i opened the valve manually while completely opened, i then tightened the bolts snug, so the valve can open and close without getting binned up. Hope this helps.
