it can be done considering the stock rating was 27 highway.

No, they've revised it to be more "accurate".
Yet now i see the focus claiming 59 MPG when ONLY the hybrid gets that.... and thats highway.
And no, you can't buy the hybrid in canada yet.
closest you can get is the titanium which is 45 mpg highway.
i do a LOT of highway driving. at 70 mph i get about 23mpg, at 80 i get 20ish actual. According to the DIC I get 26@70 and 21@80 It also says I use 40 liters of fuel (yes im canadian and dont want to convert liters to gallons) when I actually use 46 litres. I've never had it even close to accurate to being how much I've used. Does anyone else have that problem or are you getting a fairly acturate number on your fuel used?

I can't keep my damn foot off the gas, but I did get 27+ going from n. cali to s. cali mostly doing between 75 and 95mph the whole way, normally getting a combined 23 mpg or so. i know i could stretch it big time if i didn't have a lead foot.

I can never get more than 22 mph average. Weather or not I do a lot of highway driving.
99 GP GT- Bosal mufflers, Custom intake.
428km trip, 24.14 mpg according to my iphone app. Mostly highway driving but a bunch was on windy mountain-ish roads. Long 3-4k pulls up steep hills. Not bad considering I just bought the car and haven't done anything but put a little bottle of Lucas in my gas tank. I bet I can get it to do better.
3.1 motor with 243k kilometers (151k miles) on it.

I get about 330ish to a tank. I average 24.9 driving with my foot more into the accelerator. If I drive respectfully, I can get 29's to the gallon. My regal has a smaller tank I think than thr GP's and def only gets 93 octane. Wish I could find 94 octane here in Cincy.
Fresh rebuild.....will update reeeeaaaaal soon
I get like 16mpg city...I would be upset, but driving a V8 is kinda worth it![]()
